World Environment Day 2025 at Sterling Gelatin: Growing a Greener Future Together
On June 5th, 2025, Sterling Gelatin proudly joined the global community in celebrating World Environment Day, reaffirming our dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
This year’s theme, “Beat Plastic Pollution,” highlighted the urgent need to tackle one of today’s most critical environmental issues. Hosted by the Republic of Korea, the event set an inspiring global benchmark, with Jeju Province announcing its bold vision to eliminate plastic pollution by 2040.
At our Karakhadi manufacturing facility, the People & Culture and Administration teams spearheaded a meaningful Tree Plantation Drive. Taking place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, employees gathered near Admin-1, Admin-2, and the Guest House to plant saplings—each one a symbol of our collective commitment to a cleaner, healthier planet.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from team members across all departments. Dressed in vibrant green, employees came together not just in attire but in purpose—demonstrating the power of unity in driving positive environmental change.

The day began with the Pratishtha (installation) of Mataji’s idol at our newly constructed temple, located near the security office.
This sacred milestone marked a new beginning, bringing divine energy and a sense of spiritual presence into our premises. Employees from across departments gathered with reverence and devotion, embodying the spirit of Navratri and reinforcing the bonds that connect us beyond the workplace.
Ashtami Hawan: A Collective Offering of Prayers
Following the Pratishtha, a sacred Ashtami Hawan was performed with deep devotion. This spiritual ritual created an atmosphere of serenity, unity, and positivity, as prayers were offered for the well-being, prosperity, and collective harmony of the entire Sterling Gelatin family.
The Hawan served as a reminder of the power of collective prayer and reinforced our shared values of mutual respect, gratitude, and hope for a prosperous future.
Aarti and Seeking Blessings
At 11:30 a.m., the vibrant energy continued with the Mataji Aarti, as employees came together to participate in an uplifting ceremony of chants, bells, and devotion.
This moment of reflection and prayer was filled with gratitude — seeking blessings for continued success, good health, and unity across all levels of the organization.
