Philip Chacko is the CEO of Sterling Biotech Limited (SBL), where he oversees company performance and operations across its biopharmaceutical and gelatin businesses. He holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management. A dynamic and seasoned leader, Philip brings nearly 30 years of cross-sector management experience in manufacturing, finance, retail, energy, and real estate, having held leadership roles at several of India’s largest business conglomerates.

Prior to joining Sterling Biotech Limited (SBL), Philip was the Managing Director of Nitta Gelatin India Limited, one of India’s most respected Japanese joint ventures and the country’s largest collagen and gelatin manufacturer and exporter. Under his leadership, the company achieved record profits and growth while significantly enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
